About Cover Cruze
Cover Cruze is an independent insurance research blog focused on US auto insurance. We publish in-depth guides, state-specific breakdowns, and plain-English explanations of the rules, costs, and fine print that affect real drivers.
We started because most insurance content online is either written by the insurers themselves or buried in legal language that takes a law degree to parse. Our goal is simpler: give you the information you’d get from a knowledgeable friend who actually read the policy.
What We Cover
We focus primarily on auto insurance across US states — minimum requirements, SR-22 filings, high-risk driver options, DUI consequences, no-fault laws, and cost breakdowns by state and driver profile. If you’re trying to understand what you’re legally required to carry, what you’re actually paying for, or how to find cheaper coverage after a rough patch, that’s where we spend most of our time.
Our coverage includes states like California, Florida, New York, Texas, Michigan, Illinois, and Georgia, with more added regularly.
How We Research
Every article is built from state insurance department publications, court-tested policy language, and publicly available rate data. We don’t accept payment to recommend specific insurers, and we don’t manufacture rate estimates — when we cite a number, we tell you where it came from.
What We Are (and Aren’t)
We are a content and research site. We are not a licensed insurance agency, we don’t sell policies, and we don’t provide personalized quotes. The articles here are a starting point — a way to walk into a conversation with an agent or insurer already knowing the right questions to ask.
